Step 1 - Access Chatsonic
You can access Chatsonic from the left hand side menu in your Writesonic account.
Step 2 - Start a New Chat
To chat with Chatsonic, simply type and send your message or question in a natural, conversational manner, and Chatsonic will respond promptly with helpful information or assistance on generating content .
Chat with your files
- Click [Add] and select the type of file you want to share with Chatsonic
- Then go ahead and chat with your file. You can ask questions in reference to the file or give instructions to create new content.
Acceptable file formats include:
Note: The maximum allowable file size is 5MB per file.
- Documents: PDF (.pdf), Word Documents (.doc, .docx)
- Images: JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg), PNG (.png)
- URLs: Chatsonic can access and reference content from most websites, with a few exceptions:
- webpages that restrict crawling
- content that is behind paywalls or requires user authentication
- webpages that primarily consists of image, audio, or video content without any accompanying texts
Use your brand voice
Note: Access to this feature varies based on the specific plan you have chosen.
- Click the [Megaphone] icon, the select [Create new]
- Enter your brand name
- Import content to train Writesonic on your writing style. You can upload a document file, add a link, or add text snippets.
- Click [Next]

Step 3 - Optimize Your Content
Chatsonic's comprehensive suite of features is designed to empower you to craft tailored and engaging content effortlessly:
Copy text to clipboard
- Click the [copy] icon to instantly copy the generated text to your device's clipboard.
- It streamlines the process of transferring content to other applications or documents, saving time and effort.
Give feedback
- Give the generated response a thumbs-up or a thumbs-down to provide feedback on the generated content.
- This enables continuous improvement of Chatsonic's responses to ensure future responses better meet your needs and expectations.
Regenerate
- Click the [regenerate] icon to quickly generate alternative versions of the content.
- This is particularly useful for exploring different angles, perspectives, or variations of the same topic, enhancing creativity and ideation.
What are Artifacts?
Artifacts in Chatsonic are powerful tools that allow for the creation and management of substantial, standalone content in a dedicated window separate from the main conversation. These dynamic, self-contained pieces of content can include code snippets, diagrams, documents, or other complex information that users may want to modify, build upon, or reference later.
Artifacts support various types such as code, Markdown, React components, SVG, Mermaid diagrams, and HTML, making them versatile for different use cases. Users can easily view, edit, iterate on, and version control Artifacts, as well as reference them within conversations. This feature enhances the ability to tackle complex projects, develop sophisticated code, and create rich, interactive content, all while keeping the main chat interface clutter-free and focused.

Useful Tips when Engaging with Chatsonic
Engaging effectively with Chatsonic can result in more accurate and customized responses for your specific needs. Here are some tips to get the most out of your interactions:
- Provide Clear Context
- Instead of: "How can I improve my marketing content?"
- Try: "I run a small clothing brand targeting young adults. How can I improve my social media content to increase engagement and sales?"
- Ask Specific Questions
- Instead of: "What are some marketing strategies?"
- Try: "What are some effective content formats for a tech startup's blog to attract B2B clients?"
- Be Patient and Specific

Chatsonic Sidebar
View Previous Chat Conversations
- See your previous chat conversations on the left hand side menu, the most recent one displayed at the top.
- Click the [View all]
- Type a keyword on the search bar to find a specific chat conversation.
Rename or Delete the Chat Conversation
Click the [arrow] icon right besides the title of the chat, select [Edit] to rename the chat conversation title, or [delete] to delete the chat.
Hide or Show the Sidebar
The show/hide sidebar icon is a thin arrow pointing left located on the top right corner of the sidebar, simply click to show or hide the sidebar.
Start a New Chat
Click the [edit icon] located at the top of the sidebar, or at the top of the chat interface when the sidebar is hidden.
Share the Chat Conversation
- Click the [share] icon located at the top right corner of the chat interface
- Select [Anyone with the link] from the dropdown.
- Select how you want to share the chat conversation:
- Copy and share the public link to anyone
- Download it as a Microsoft Word and PDF file
- Share it on social media and other messaging apps (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, and WhatsApp)

Now switch between three different appearance theme options: Light, Comfort, Dark
- Click the [Profile] icon located at the bottom left corner of the page, then click the [Appearance].
