Step 1 - Access Chatsonic

You can access Chatsonic from the left hand side menu in your Writesonic account.

Step 2 - Start a New Chat

To chat with Chatsonic, simply type and send your message or question in a natural, conversational manner, and Chatsonic will respond promptly with helpful information or assistance on generating content .

Chat with your files

1. Click [Add] and select the type of file you want to share with Chatsonic
2. Then go ahead and chat with your file. You can ask questions in reference to the file or give instructions to create new content.

Acceptable file formats include:

Note: The maximum allowable file size is 10MF per file.

• Documents: PDF (.pdf), Word Documents (.doc, .docx)

• Images: JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg), PNG (.png)

• Audio: MP3 (.mp3), WAV (.wav)

• URLs: Chatsonic can access and reference content from most websites, with a few exceptions:

  • webpages that restrict crawling
  • content that is behind paywalls or requires user authentication
  • webpages that primarily consists of image, audio, or video content without any accompanying texts

• Knowledge Base Files - you can select files from your Knowledge Base

Use your brand voice

Note: Access to this feature varies based on the specific plan you have chosen.

1. Click the [Megaphone] icon, the select [Create new]
2. Enter your brand name
3. Import content to train Writesonic on your writing style. You can upload a document file, add a link, or add text snippets.
4. Click [Next]

Use Agent Mode

In agent mode, Chatsonic takes a proactive approach. Chatsonic initiates the conversation by asking questions and providing suggestions. By asking questions, Chatsonic can gather more information about your preferences, needs, or problems, acting as a guide with a series of prompts to help you achieve your goal. Step 3 - Optimize Your Content

Copy text to clipboard

• Click the [copy] icon to instantly copy the generated text to your device's clipboard.
• It streamlines the process of transferring content to other applications or documents, saving time and effort.

Give feedback

• Give the generated response a thumbs-up or a thumbs-down to provide feedback on the generated content.
• This enables continuous improvement of Chatsonic's responses to ensure future responses better meet your needs and expectations.

Regenerate

• Click the [regenerate] icon to quickly generate alternative versions of the content.
• This is particularly useful for exploring different angles, perspectives, or variations of the same topic, enhancing creativity and ideation.

Modify the response

• Click the [modify] icon and easily select from a dropdown menu to modify the response according to your preferences. You can rephrase text, enhance writing quality, adjust length, change tone, simplify language, or perform any other type of modification, the process is straightforward.

Check Plagiarism

• Click the [3-dot] icon, then click [Check plagiarism] to verify the originality of the generated content

Notes

• Click the [Add to Notes] icon to copy chat responses into your chat Notes.
• Click the [Notes] tab to open/hide the Notes interface.
• Add/edit your personal notes, ideas, or attach relevant chatbot responses into your chat Notes.

Open in AI Document Editor

• Click the [Notes] tab to open the chat Notes, then click [Open in AI Document Editor]. This will open your notes in the AI Document Editor.

Chatsonic Sidebar

View Previous Chat Conversations

• See your previous chat conversations on the left hand side menu, the most recent one displayed at the top.
• Type a keyword on the search bar to find a specfic chat conversation.

Rename or Delete the Chat Conversation

Click the [3-dot] icon, select [Edit] to rename the chat conversation title, or [delete] to delete the chat.

Hide or Show the Sidebar

The show/hide sidebar icon is a short grey horizontal line located between the sidebar and the chat interface, simply click to show or hide the sidebar

Start a New Chat

Click the [edit icon] located at the top of the sidebar, or at the top of the chat interface when the sidebar is hidden.

Share the Chat Conversation

1. Click the [share] icon located at the top right corner of the chat interface
2. Select [Anyone with the link] from the dropdown.
3. Select how you want to share the chat conversation:
   • Copy and share the public link to anyone
   • Download it as a Microsoft Word and PDF file
   • Share it on social media and other messaging apps (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, and WhatsApp)

Chatsonic Settings

Dark Mode

1. Click the [gear] icon located at the top right corner of the chat interface, then click the [General] tab.
2. Toggle ON to activate Dark Mode
3. Click [Save]

Custom Instructions for All Chats

You can provide Chatsonic with custom instructions to receive personalized responses in all future conversations.

1. Click the [Custom Instructions] tab
2. Enter your custom instructions for all new chats
   • Tell Chatsonic more about you. Eg. What is your profession, what subjects interest you
   • How would you like it to respond? Eg. Long responses or short, format or casual, neutral or opinionated
3. Toggle ON to activate custom instructions
4. Click [SAVE]
