GEO: Broken Links Tracking and Resolution
7 days ago by Anmol Verma
We're excited to announce a new capability in our GEO that helps you identify and resolve broken links discovered by AI bots.

What's New: Broken Links Tracking in Action Center
- Automatically detects when AI bots (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.) encounter broken pages on your website
- Displays failed page URLs with their corresponding error status codes (404, 4xx, 6xx)
- Provides actionable insights to fix broken links and improve AI bot accessibility
How It Works
When AI bots attempt to crawl your website for content generation, our system captures instances where they encounter broken or inaccessible pages. These broken links are displayed in the Action Center under the "actionables" page, showing you exactly which URLs are preventing AI bots from accessing your content.
Why This Matters:Maximize Your AI Citation Opportunities
- Broken links mean missed opportunities for your content to be cited in AI responses
- When AI bots can't access your pages, they can't reference your content
- Fixing these links increases your chances of being included in AI-generated answers
Requirements
- AI Traffic Analytics integration required(which is Server-side integration to be done by customer)
- Supported integration methods:
- Cloudflare integration
- Commercial integration
- WordPress integration
Getting Started
- Ensure your AI Traffic Analytics is integrated using one of the supported methods
- Navigate to Action Center → Actionables page
- Review broken links with their status codes
- Fix broken pages by redirecting to working URLs or adding missing content
This feature helps you optimize your website for AI discoverability by the LLM Bots and maximize your content's reach across AI platforms.
